Albendazole
DESCRIPTION

Albendazole is an anthelmintic medication. Albendazole is available for oral consumption in the form of 200mg tablets.

How It Works

There are many different types of infections that are caused by the presence of worms within the human body. One of the more common types is the tapeworm. This is caused by a certain type of worm which resides within the digestive tract. Albendazole targets the adult form of tapeworms. Worms require sugar in order to continue surviving. Albendazole works by inhibiting the worms’ ability to absorb these essential sugars. When they are deprived of their nutrition supply, they soon die.
